Sure. Any pop up would be in history. All you need for history is a record of it. If a window pops up and shows a page, it is no different than manually typing the address. His story is probably true. I would bet those sites are a prostitution ring, if they are even remotely real. I have been seeing those ads fairly regularly on non-pornographic sites for some time now. I say he gets a pass... for now :)

you get porn pop-ups from visiting a bad porn site it's practically a virus you will get from trying to watch a video on one of these sites. and no porn sires in your an an pop-up will count as recently visited but the only way to get these pop-ups is from being on the site it's self

usually anti-virus/ internet protection prgrams are in computers to stop any popups such as porn websites to come out

however only way to get those popups is because the websites-even if its not porn-are promoting the porn advertisment

then sometimes event things people download will have a tiny glitch that has the ability to attract porn pop-ups

to get rid of em, jsut get the recent internet protection yada, plus check your internet properties to see if you can activate a block to popups

You can't track history after it has been deleted, unless it shows up in the Recycling Bin or unless you have mad prowess with computers.

Yes, pop-ups are possible, but most toolbars come with some sort of ad-blocker or pop-up blocker.

You can also have your computer block porn sites by setting up a non-admin account on your computer and configuring parental controls for it.

If you use a pop up blocker & a browser like Firefox, then that is not a problem ;]

Yes!

You can even get porn adverts everywhere on the computer websites!

A pop up has no access into your computer unless you click something on it. It wont appear in your recently veiw tabs. you cant trace a porn pop up after it has been closed. There is no way to see it on the history unless you touched something on the pop up which it then may be possible yes. No virus can download its self if you have anti-virus software and close it asap. Also you can stop these ads from appearing by pop-up blocker which is found under tools on your brower or can be downloaded and is on many toolbars on the net. If not, then you can get parental controls to block them for you. :)

1) Yes porn pop-ups can come from spyware. Spyware creators will send you to any website that will pay them for clicks, porn being a popular one

2) Depending on your browser, yes, porn pop-ups can show up in recently visited sites even if the person did not click on them

3) if the history was deleted then it would be difficult to determine when the sites were visited.

999) If you are worried that your boyfriend is lying to you about browsing porn websites, you need to chill out and realize that even if he is, he's still your boyfriend and you shouldn't hold it against him.

Yes, it happens but only when you are infected with adware gained from going on porn websites.

unless you've been on porn websites you are safe.
