I don't see any command in Notepad by which I can increase the font size or at least make the text look bigger by using zoom in percentage just like MS Word. This is causing problem as the font size is very low. I know I can copy and paste the text in a Word file and then do the needful but it wont serve my purpose as I have to work in Notepad only.

Thanks in advance for your suggestion and guidance.

Hi there,

you need to high-light the text, click the 'format' tab and select 'Font'

this should give you the option to change the size, colour and font of the text x

Increase font size by clicking on Format > Font and just choose the size you want. Consider a more normal text editor though. MS Word is good. Or you can get Open Office for free which has a text editor almost identical to MS Word.

This may not be exactly what you're looking for but Windows has an interesting tool that magnifies your screen. Go Start > All Programs > Accessories > Accessibility > Magnifier. This puts an extra window on your screen with a zoom feature.
