use gmail, otherwise you'll have to pay.

I understand Google never deletes anything, and may use all content for their own purposes (nefarious or not).

If you have a friend with a webserver, they should be able to give you an email account with pop/smtp support and even goodies like TLS.

Otherwise, you will be paying $5 a year or so.

If you need the authentication for your Yahoo account have a look at the free program "YPOPS" it enables pop and smtp forwarding.

I've used it since 2000 with no problems whatsoever

You should ask a friend that has a website. For example I have provided some friends and family with pop3 accounts on my web server. Most web hosting services offer the capablility of multiple email accounts and if the domain owner trusts you not to abuse the account, can easily set you up one. And b4 u ask, no i do not trust you.

If you are looking for a webmail account that is useable on your outlook (this is my assumption) then if you have Outlook 2003 then you can use hotmail on outlook. Look at the add account wizard and it will show you how, also if you need to use outlook to download your yahoo and things like that try www.ypopsemail.com also a related article is www.askaboutmoney.com/showthread.php?t=3863

Well, i really shouldn't be saying this in a yahoo site,

but here it is.

go to

http://www.ypopsemail.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index

There you will find something called yahoo pop. a freeware tool that lets u have pop access to ur yahoo account.

u just ve to install, configure the yahoo pop and ur outlook express, and u can access ur yahoo in ur outlook

There was a hotpop for hotmail also. but i m not sure if its still available. try googling.

So, what's wrong with using G-mail?!? I don't understand your question. IF you found one that works "G-Mail" then why not use that one?!?
