I can't login to my username (with vista) PLEASE HELP!?

Question

Hi, I can't login to the computer it stays at the screen where it shows the three usernames, Austin, Andy, and Guest. My name is Austin and I can't log on to my username. I can log on to Andy and guest account, (i'm on andy right now) and when I click my name it says welcome....
For about 10 more seconds it says welcome. After that it just shows a blank screen..
What the heck is going on??
Also, another weird thing is that when I hold Ctrl Alt + Del, it pops up the screen, as if i was logged on. It says task manager, change password, log off, switch login, or lock this computer. Please help...

hmm right, cnotrol alt and delete is normal, but its probably an error or virus on your username you may have to delete the account, go to your Andy account, control panel and delete austin, but when it asks to keep files, let it keep the files/profile but delete the account, then the files will be saved on andy. then get a memory stick, put the files on andy, create a new austin account and pop them in :)

no, you can't delete an account without the password and it isn't logging you in for some reason, you sure you have the password right? are the caps locks on? i had a similar problem a couple months ago here i was entering the wrong password by one digit. if nothing works you will have to completely reinstall windows or just work from another side, only problem is if you are the administrator you will not be able to do anything without your password, hopefully you know it . good luck.

yea do what the first guy says.

But you could also try going onto andy and changing settings for austin through there by going to user managment but it would be best to delete stuff you dont need and transfer all your stuff from austin to andy also run a virus and spyware scan just to be safe and sound cos sometimes viruses can effect the way your computer runs. good luck
