In Worms World Party, I get lag (jerking)?

I startup Worms World Party (WWP) and it jerks (or lags)

I do I fix this?

works fine on win 95 and 98

try the compatable wizard if you are using winxp

reduce screen size to1024 x 768 or 800 x 600 16bit or 12bit colour

they are the setting on my childrens system

they have 128mb ram
