I sent out only 2 emails on the 31st of December 2007. I have received replies to neither email. The recipients usually reply within days. So, how do I find out if my emails were actually delivered to their mailboxes? Do I contact the postmaster? If so, how do I do that?

Thanks!

Why not just e-mail them back and ask if they received the e-mail? I know I have problems sending people e-mail because it gets sent to their spam folder.

Usually if they are not delivered (due to the recipients mail box full or something wrong with their account), you will get a message back saying that the e-mail was "undeliverable". Why not send another e-mail and attach a read receipt? Doesn't always work though, as people can ignore the "read receipt".

If the destination is not available, usually you'd get a reply stating that there was an error of some kind. If you use AIM for e-mail, there is actually a nice option available for you where you can check the status of your e-mail. it states when the person received the email and if he/she has read it already. For inportant e-mails I use that because it is my only way in determining if they have received the letter.

If your emails weren't delivered, you would have received an undeliverable mail notification. I'd suggest just being a bit more patient or sending a followup email to your friends. Not everyone checks their email every day, or if they have yahoo or hotmail they may have tons of spam and just didn't see your email.

go to your sent box if they are there they were sent
