nicnoc is correct. I have multiple computers on one router at home, if my son in law is playing world of warcraft down in my basement, the slow down is noticeable. If all the computers are just surfing web pages, you won't notice a difference.

it won't be slowed by 4 times if you are using broadband for 4 pc's you connection can be slowed by at most 2 times not 4 times

yes, normally a service would have a limit.

lets say if you are using a 516mbps broadband. usually a wired connection will receive 100.00mbps and for the wireless each ping of a computer (packet send out from the server to end user per second) would be reduce from 54mbps, 43mbps and so on.

nope had 3 pcs on one router, never had a problem, never slowed down, always had high MPBS ( usually the highiest 11 ) only time i ever had a problem with the connections is when a cordless phone was used becuase of the frequency of the phone interfering with the frequency of the router.

Not exactly, but it will be slowed down because the connection will be shared by 4 different computers. I don't know if it is evenly divided between the four.
