Check the date of your computer.

Make sure the day, month, and year are all set to the correct time.

Make sure the time is fine too.

If the clock/date keeps reseting after restart. You most likely have a bad bios battery.

^ I know weird but it can be looking for an old expired certificate

Using IE? Go to internet options. Clear SSL State

Open cmd.

Type in ipconfig /flushdns

Or what Tys stated

Meh, thats all i got

"On board" browser certificates not current.

Vista/Win7: Go to your "Windows update" in Control Panel> follow prompts.

For XP: Internet Explorer> Security > Windows Update.

When @ Microsoft Updates, click the 'Custom' button, not the 'Express'.

This will give you hardware & software updates specific to your unit.

Includes specific drivers & "Root Certificates".

["Express" and "Automatic Updates" only gives Windows operating system updates]

It also happens that the site forgets to renew them; or just stops buying them. Those are conditions you have no control over.

That's an issue with the site, not on your end.

Unless you're the site owner, that is. And in that case, we'll need more information.
