How to copy an internet connection from one computer to another or is it possible?

I don't know how to create a connection like the one on this computer ,this computer goes really slow and i have another computer (windows xp) but when i hook it up the internet connection doesn't work Plz Help

you probably want a router, then you can connect both at once.

it depends,,, if you have windows go to my connections and then right click the connection that you use and then on one of the tabs you can click the sharing button.... then you connect the computers with ethernet or peir to peir connections with two wireless internet devices. another way is just using a router

you didn't say it your dsl or dial up. if your on dial up. just connect your phone line to other computer. then go to control panel.

network connectons

on the left side of the panel should say create a new connection, click this

a wizard comes up follow inst.

click next

choose connect to the internet click next

choose set up my connection manually click next

choose connect using a dail modem click next

a box comes up type in 123abc clcik next

a box comes up type in your normal number that you use to connect to the internet clcik next

the next box type in your user name & password( these are the ones you use always use to log onto your internet.)

click next

a box comes up theres a place on it that has for you to click to add short cut to desk top click it. click finish your done.

you will have created a manually internet connect with a icon on your desktop just click it and it should connect you.
