im supposed to submit a photo for an id card and in the directions, it says the photo cannot be bigger than 2 megabytes in size. i checked the properties of my picture and it says the size it 395 KB (405,392 bytes) (copy and pasted).

is this ok? is that less than 2 megabytes? the resolution matches up so...(1200x1600)...matches up. tnx :)

MUCH LESS then 2 MB infact.

From smallest to greatest: bit byte kilobyte megabyte gigabyte terabyte petabyte exabyte The final 3 are so extensive you will probable purely see them in very great advertisement and government desktops.

Yes, you will have plenty of room. 1 KB=1000 bytes. 1 MB=1,000,000 bytes. I could go on for a while explaining, but that's not what you need right now.

yes, the requirements are to have a picture that is less than 200,000,000 bytes or 200,000 Kilobytes (KB)

1000bits = 1byte

1000bytes = 1megabbyte - MB

1000MB = 1 gigabyte - GB

1000GB = 1 Terabyte - TB
