I have been playing pokemon red and blue on the Visual Boy Advance emulator but want to open them both with the TGB-Dual Emulator so I can trade pokemon between the two games. Is there a way to open the save files I have for the the two games on the Visual Boy Advance and open them on the TGB-Dual emulator? I don't want to have to restart on both games playing on the TGB-Dual and am hoping that I can just open my save files for both games that I have with the Visual Boy Advance.

Also, If there is a way to do what I need, Is there a way to transfer a save file made on the TGB-Dual back to a format to play of the Visual Boy Advance? This way I can save after trading pokemon on the TGB-Dual and continue playing the games on the Visual Boy Advance.

ANy help please!!!!

to open your save in TGB open your game in VBA first save the game in the game (not save state shift-f1 type), go file > export > battery file. save the battery file with the exact name of the rom (should be default) then move it into the TGB save folder. should have the continue option when you start TGB.

Open a file means you are opening an existing file that has already been saved. Save a file means you're saving changes to an existing file you have opened and edited or saving a file for the first time.
