I'm running bittorrent and a currently downloading a show with 80+ episodes. since downloading them all at once would be crazy and take forever i've been downloading them in groups of five. like 1-5 6-10 11-15 etc. and i have to go and set up the next set manually all the time.
but i was wondering if there was a way to do it one file (episode) at a time, automatically. so i can just say go, and when i get back, it'll have downloaded like 10 episodes or something.
so any advice would be nice, and i'd change to a different program if it worked right.

Not exactly what you're asking, but something like uTorrent is nice where you can set 3 different priority levels, so maybe 1-5 high, 6-10 normal, 11-15 low, everything else skip, so you can at least wait a little bit longer before resetting.

If you can watch the episodes online try downloading Real Player and give it the option to download videos from online websites. once you go to the video's website it put the mouse over the video and a pop up window will appear (R Download this Video), click on it and it'll download the whole video. this can be done with up to 20 videos simultaneously if most i remember. Be warned if you loose connection you may have to re download all over again, also some websites may not allow real player to download (pretty rare)!

(^-^)v hope this helped!

a million. set up torrent shopper like uTorent 2. visit any torrent web site like pirate bay, fenopy, and so on. 3. click on the magnet hyperlink of the report you like. that is going to open in uTorrent and start up downloading. that is it.
