your video card (add-on or onboard) may be having some issues. enter safe mode with networking and see if you can go to the computer vendors site and download the latest drivers for your computer.

When you get to safe mode, change your monitor setting to the lowest resolution and setting. then try booting as normal. If it starts up and you can see the screen, check and update your vga drivers. If the problem still persists, try another monitor as yours might need replacing

not sure why it quite is turning the visual demonstrate unit off. ought to be a controversy with portraits driving force. I had a great form of problems with my Nvidia Geforce driving force initially even though it quite is all fastened now. attempt to pass on your portraits card producer website and get carry of a driving force for Linux. For all drivers, pass to the producer's website or attempt to google for it. the final Linux distro i've got ever are available in the time of is Ubuntu.
