Projec 1 Virus Help!!!?

hey guys,
i got the project 1 virus from an email and now i thinkthe virus is gone, but i still have popups
(ex of one URL is http://www.3bsoftwarepromo.com/rr/e/20060405CCAREYRR9E/SCAN/index.html)

it is so annoying and is slowing my computer down. if any one can help that would be awesome. BTW i hav tried hijack this ccleaner and just about every other anti spyware program already.

Neither hijack this nor Ccleaner are antivirus or antispy. They are system utilities that can assist you in tracking down malware.



I'm suprised though - did you go through all your startups, DLL's, IE helpers and identify EACH one? Dont forget about clearing out your prefetch folder (available in ccleaner)



Try Superantispyware. Its good.



BTW - Dont post addresses of known malware sites here. Some people may click on them and become infected...not a good idea.
