Hello, I was wondering if this error will make me lose all my data on my computer. Meaning all my files and such. I want to recover and I believe this is a fixable error, but I am worried I'll lose all my files

First thing to try:
Boot from a windows installation disk, choose repair, and get to the recovery console. Open a command prompt and change directory to \windows\system32\config
You will need to make a file available for modification:
attrib system -r -s -h
Now you will find a file named System. Rename that to system.bak (Ren System System.bak) and then find the file System.alt. Copy that file to System:
copy system.alt system
At this point, you might also want to run SFC /SCANNOW (there is a space between the C and the / )
Hopefully that will work. It may only get you into Windows however, but then you might have additional problems. If this occurs, use Windows System Restore to go back to a recent Restore Point on your machine.
you have to reboot it....dont worry no files will lose...
before the installation.....just manage your important files in C....To D..,or E...then it will be safe...
get a proffesion help...and told him to you want to move your files from C to Other...
or told him to copy all the important files to usb... before installation...

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.getpchealthboost.com
It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

You can make a restore point in systemrestore so that you can rollback to that point where you had all the files
