I'd suggest you spend about 2-3 hours on each of the 4 entities you listed above. Then decide for yourself which one makes the most sense to you and which one you would enjoy working with.
There is no crystal ball to say "you should choose Linux and Cisco, then you'll be rich". All that you can do is enjoy the work you do, and the money will come in no matter which combination of the above entities you choose.
If you enjoy your work, you'll be good at your work, and you'll be successful. Choosing a technology to specialize in just because someone on Yahoo! suggested it would be foolish and you'd probably end up not very happy in your career.

i am a software developer working in hyd. following has been my observation about s/w jobs. 1> look at s/w jobs in a pyramid fashion. the maximum no. of jobs will be for s/w developement as a team of 2 - any no (depending upon the size) would we working for one application. Once this application is deployed at the client end, only few DBA's and system / Network Admins will be required to manage that. 2> now, in s/w development jobs, amongs all the options that u have provided, i would strongly recommend going for Java / Oracle: SQL, PL/SQL. 3> bcos, if u have 1-2 yrs of exp in these technology, u will have a bright chance of getting in Oracle ERP, as the future releses are going to be Java and oracle based. and a career in ERP means big bucks !! 4> also consider this, as a network / secuirty professional, u will have more jobs on-site, where the work envoirnment / salary arnt very attractive. but as a developer, u will have a good envoirnment.
