0000000002: 2013-04-02 14:19:16:792 Exception: The system cannot find the file specified Exception Called by: ATI.ACE.MOM.Implementation.MOM_Main::CheckInstallMode processID:06016 threadID:(MOM.DequeueThread) domainName:(MOM.exe ) assemblyName:(MOM.Implementation, Version=3.5.4703.27221, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=90ba9c70f846762e) ************************************************************************************************************************

This always happens when I try opening my Screen Resolution in any way I know, for example: When I Right-Click the DeskTop and click "Screen Resolution. Then an error window pops up saying:
"Windows cannot find
'::{26EE0668-A00A-44D7-9371-BEB064C98683}\1\::{C555438B-3C23-4769-A71F-B6...\Settings'.
Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again."

Then I click OK and another error window pops up, the window's name is Explorer.EXE which I know is a process too, it says:
"Windows cannot find ". Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again"
I click OK and nothing happens, it just closes.
But the second error message only pops up when I do it by Right-Click the Screen and click Screen Resolution. But when I do it by Control Panel> Appearance and Personalization below Display, then I click in "Adjust Screen Resolution, only the 1st error message pops up.
And When I click on "Make text and other items larger or smaller" absolutely nothing happens.
The Option "Connect to a projector" works fine but when I click on "Connect to an external display" happens the same thing that happens when i click "Adjust screen resolution" >(only one error window pops up.

Now, I just figured out that below the option "Ease of Access Center" the same thing happens in all the options below except for "Turn High Contrast on or off" which I thing works fine, it opens "Appearance and Personalization" window.

I am concerned about this because I think this is the the reason why I am having a really really big lagg on my PC lately. I did not have any lagg before, what I mean is, my programs stop working and then closes, it could be any program, and when it freezes my PC often shuts down. I made a question about this and they said it was probably a virus, but I full scanned my PC twice and did not find anything, and I deleted most of my programs and files to make my PC a little faster, which worked a little, but I am still having this Critical laggs attack.

I am not sure but I noticed this happed after I installed a "new version of greaphic's update"

I went to Event Viewer and took an screenshot about the event, here is the link to it:

My system's info:
Windows 7 Ultimate (not a genuine version, after I sent it to repair for formating, they installed me an advanced version which turned out that it was not genuine -__-)

Rating: 3.1

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) X2 Dual-Core QL-62 2.00 GHz

Installed Memory RAM: 2.00 GB (1.75 GB Usable)

System type: 32-bit Operating System

I have AVG 2011 Antivirus Protection (when I sent it for repair they installed this antivirus for 5 years)
And this is a LapTop Toshiba satellite

I'll start with saying sorry cause I didn't read everything you wrote but here are a few things that you can try.

- Reinstall your video card drivers (probably won't do you any good but it doesn't do any damage either).

- Try repairing you Windows install with a Win 7 32-bit disc (you can download one via torrent network and burn it onto an empty disc ; this shouldn't cause any interference with updates since you don't have a genuine version).

- Get a trial version of an AV that actually can detect something (AVG is good as a free app for you smartphone but that about covers it's usefulness) like Kaspersky, McAfee, NOD or even Norton (but do not keep Norton) and do a full scan cause Windows files do not just disappear on their own and you might have an uninvited guest wreaking havoc on your system services.

- Also if you're using any clean-up or power-up software that says it will keep your system clean and speed it up - STOP. Most of that software makes more damage than good.

My landlord had same problem lagging. You must remove windows 7 completely. Reload a fresh version. Go to control panel advanced check first box hit reset. This will help with lagging. But u still need to wipe c drive and reinstall windows to clear the error file
