I have a Windows XP computer that I changed to Linux. I now want to change it back to Windows XP but I don't know what to do with the drivers. Will I come with the drivers or will I have to install them separate or is there an all in one pack I can download? I tried looking on isohunt but I can’t fine anything.

If you can't get your drivers from your manufacturers official site or from XP itself then your asking for trouble downloading them from unknown sites.

You may as well simply go and download the first virus you can find and at least start with an infected computer before you put any files on it.

As stated XP is not a supported operating system now, your putting on an OS that will have no more updates, is quite easy to infect with viruses and you will find less and less support.

If your computer came supplied with XP then it should have a recovery disk, if not then you need to look at the motherboard manufacturer for their drivers, the video card for theirs and so on, stay with official sites and if you use sites like ISOhunt then don't be surprised if you get a nice virus.

here ya go

driverpacks.net/docs/beginners-guide-windows-xp

If that doesn't come across as a hyper-link just copy and paste to your browser, or, just google "xp driver packs" and you should see a link for beginners. You can copy the image from your install disk and use nlite (freeware), to slipstream the drivers into the image (use imgbrn to extract your image from the disk and burn your new image...free also and very user friendly, literally just a couple of clicks), and make a new disk. Heck you can even slipstream the Windows key into the image and have a completely unattended install. It's not that hard and it's a great learning experience. Give it a shot. Unfortunately, in spite of what MS says, xp does not come with the required drivers. Why are you switching back though? If Linux was too difficult, try a different distro. Pinguy is very Windowsy, Toorox is also great, has scads of drivers built in and can run on lite resources. Try dual-booting if nothing else (Linux and Windoze on the same HDD. Anyway, hope this helps. Good luck!

Looking for the drivers for Windows is almost impossible(spent an entire day looking for an audio and video driver once...)... plus, Windows XP is at the end of its life and been basically abandoned by microsoft as far as secuity update(takes them months push out updates...). What do you need to do in Windows? I can show you how to do it in linux if you want. What linux operating system is it?

Are you using one of the popular ones like Ubuntu or Mint? or another one?
