My Startup Repair seems to be going slowly and I want to try something else. Can turning my PC off during Startup Repair damage the PC in any way?

Nope not gonna damage it in any way if you have never done before. BUT, excessive shut down by cutting out the power CAN and MAY cause hard drive damage. So if its the first time, don't worry. Nothing would happen to it.

Hint for the startup problem : I am going to suggest to try 'Start Windows with Last Successful settings' rather than startup repair. Startup repair has never been any good to me.

YES it will corrupt the MBR (master boot record).. do it at your own peril

I would not do it.
