How can do I fix my computer that has blue screen error?

So my computer is running on windows xp professional.
Every time I turn on my computer when it is at the windows xp loading screen it keeps restarting. Then the blue screen appear and says the following:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation or backup utilities. Check your hard drive configuration, and check for any updated drivers. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

Can some please give me step by step on how to fix it! :(

Installation goes like this, put the OS Disk in CD reader, as you are booting up, press F12, this will give you a Boot Menu, choose boot from CD, as it is firing up watch the lower left corner of your screen, when asked to press any key to boot from CD, do so, (any key). When asked the type of Format, choose Full Format, this will clean the disk right off, including bugs.Follow the prompts, job's done. Warning! Before you install, get all your goodies off or they will go in the format.

Try starting up the computer by hitting the f8 continually. You should get an advanced boot options. Try the "last know good config". If no good try safe mode with networking. If you get on that way try to run a virus scan preferably with Malwarebytes. If still the same you might need to reload windows all together

I am afraid you have done everything!!! i think you need to replace your hard disk!!! I hope you have backed up all your vital data.
