I'm trying to convert .wma music files to .mp3, is there a way to do this? or am i just wasting my time..

If you read some of those pamphlets to your music player that the nice men left when you were hiding behind the door, the music might convert to JW. I don't know what god MP3 is associated with.

get a full duplex soundcard. play the file and record it back in at the same time, recording to a different program - then save to mp3. doing this gets round all the security issues.

Using some "player" software, you can click "saveas" under files and you will find the option to save as different types of files.

There is a way to do this using windows media player. Its one of the options. im not quite sure how to do that thou

easy enough, get a program like Audacity or groove mechanic and they'll do it for you- or just get a utility called Lame, that's will do it.
