Why does Runescape not work on Firefox?

It is such a hassle to have windows explorer and firefox open, because runescape is the only thing i use on i.e. because i dont like it. My java is enabled in Firefox but as soon as i choose a world it stops responding? why is this and how can i help it? By the way, my brother plays it on his pc with firefox and it works fine.

your brothers might work if he has windows vista. on xp it is more difficult because you have to do everyting yourself. personally i would suggest just using internet explorer. it is better for online games.
