Question:
My Virtual Machine hangs at startup?
2012-01-12 16:21:06 UTC
I am using the latest version of VirtualBox. I have Oracle Solaris 11 as the guest OS. Every time I start it up it will go to the Solaris loading screen and will not go any further. It just sits there while the red circle goes around and it will eventually go to a black screen that says its timed out and has killed contract 38.. I have enabled virtual computing in my bios and i downloaded solaris just for the VM.. I'm stumped and do not know what to do.. Please let me know if you have any insight.. Thanks

Try disabling virtual computing in bios. Check for bios updates.

Make sure you're running the right architecture, too.

It may be possible your computer is hacked by viruses. Opt for a good antivirus and do install. After doing so restart your system.
