You could always just not use the tabs on IE8. IE6 is outdated and doesn't support a lot of the new web features, so more and more websites won't support it. New operating systems don't even come with IE6. Vista has IE7 by default and Win7 will have IE8 by default (unless you live in Europe in which case it won't ship with a browser, but Win7 will only support IE8 anyway, I think)

You can use IE7, it is the same microsoft stuff but at least it has updated patches, the IE8 is still "young" and many more patches will have to be make to fix tons of security fixes. Why do not you try Firefox or Chrome?



They are safer and load webpages faster than IE (any version)
