How can I transfer this file to another computer?

I have a flash drive up to about 120 MB, but the file I want to transfer is about 130 MB. I need a way to transfer it to my other computer or somehow make the file size a tad smaller. I already tried sending the file to a compressed (zipped) folder but it didn't do much. Any help? Thanks!

2GB flash drives are less than $10. Is all this pain worth saving $10??

Use Google Drive or some other on-line/cloud based service to transfer the file....you get several gigs for free from most of the main sites.

upload it in dropbox and transfer or if its data file the divide it and move. if its a video compress tht into low quality. those r the only ways which i know

If they are both running windows, just transfer it locally using a home group. They need to be on the same wifi network.



If one is running xp and the other is running vista, seven, or eight... (They still need to be on the same wifi network)



On one computer, press winkey+r and then type in the name of the computer. (Like this: \\NAME-OF-PC) It will ask you to log into your account. Log in, copy the file to your computer

Dowload HJsplit http://www.hjsplit.org/ it is freeware and you can split the file into two chunks, copy one at a time, then install hjsplit on the other machine to put the parts back together again.

You can spilt the file into two or many parts and and transfer them one by one...then afterwards Join Them Back.

For Ex:120MB-60MB+60MB....just download the software called "File Splitter And Joiner", size is less than 1.5MB...link is given below::

Well, you can maybe upload it online. Just compress it and put a good password on it (by right clicking your file-> add to archive...-> advanced tab -> set password) and upload it here:

When finished, copy the link and enter it in the other computer. Download it, and there.

Upload it to Google Drive (drive.google.com), then download it from the same google account on the other computer.

Please try to find any large space one from your friend ..otherwise divide the file and transfer with two stage.

you can use 7zip compressor. It will compress it to very small size.
