error deleting filer or folder?

was torrenting, saved a torrent file to my desktop by accident. I powered off my computer before deleting it. Now that I try to delete it, I cant. I get "error deleting file or folder"cannot delete this fike. How can i get this off my desktop, is this a virus?? NEED HELP! BAD WITH COMPUTERS!

Well then Jaime you follow the instructions below and it will get deleted in next no time.



(The software recommended "UNLOCKER 1.9.0" is a freeware and is totally secure to download and install)



Download UNLOCKER 1.9.0 (google it and the first result is the download link mate) and install it.



After that right-click on that torrent and select "Unlocker",

this time you will get a small window of unlocker software asking you for some options. (No Action, Delete, Rename, Move)



Select "Delete" and press OK.



This will instantly delete the file and unlock all the handling programs using it.

Hi

you can delete a torrent through your Client like u torrent

or close your torrent Client, and then delete the file

Make sure your Torrent program is turned off (exited). It may still be accessing the file on the desktop.

Give some details about the file and what operating system you are using

Try going through the control panel then add remove programs you will need to know the name of it to find it then you can remove it that way, if not try a system restore to before you got it.
