Some games and Adobe won't work unless I run as administrator which is a pain. How can I run my home computer without doing this every time? I am the administrator. This MY computer. I hate this.

Probaly the easiest way to run anything on your PC as an ADMINISTRATOR is to RIGHT-CLICK on the ICON for which you want to open or run , then a list will appear or a list of options. From this list click RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

Do not get rid of Administrator or you won't have permissions to do a lot of things

Look up User accounts in your PC and make yourself the Administrator.

When you log in use the password you set up for the Admin Account and you should be able to download.

Another issue could be that you have too much stuff on your hard drive already and need to delete some of it.

You just need to make sure your account is set up with FULL administrator rights. Go into your user panel and make sure all the correct boxes are checked. If that doesn’t work, try creating a new administrator account and see if that gives you full functionality.

It's a security feature to prevent a user from accidentally allowing a malicious app to wreak havoc on their PC.

You can disable the UAC prompt and set those apps to run as an admin in their compatibility options.
