This might be the easiest way to drag down your virtual memory usage. (this not that long as you might think, I've just put some spaces for you to read it easily!)
1. Go to Windows Task Manager
- to go there press ctrl+alt+delete
2. Inside Windows Task Manager
-if you want to see first your pc usage, press the performance tab
-then go now to the processes tab.
3. Inside Processes Tab
- right click to any unknown/unused /high memory-usage/stupid applications.
- either click the end process or end process tree to end application.
just be careful with not to lose important applications.
*some vital applications cannot be ended.
*I may suggest to you to end only those applications which has your username at the right side portion
the application/s. Avoid ending applications which have the System Username, also found at the right
side part of the application.
* By any chance you have ended the explorer application, you will not anymore see any of your applications,
your desktop, and your desktop icons. The only solution is by restarting your PC or going to Task Manager.
- inside the Task Manager, click the Applications Tab
- Then press the New Task Tab.
- Type explorer and enter, it will now resume.
*This can also help eliminate running viruses. By ending the virus's process, you can now delete the virus
w/o even consulting your anti-virus program/s.
4. You may want to see now your PC usage at the performance tab.
