My computer has Windows 7. I created the ghost image of my computer using the Norton Ghost 15. Due to the big hard drive, the image produced 4 different ghost files (CDR00001.GHO, CDR00002.GHO, CDR00003.GHO and CDR00004.GHO). I need help creating a bootable DVD including these 4 ghost image files, executable file and data files.

After a bootable DVD is built, the system needs to restart so that it can boot from the DVD. It will reinstall Windows 7 from the ghost image files, and then run the executable program.

FYI. I created a bootable DVD using Nero Burning ROM or PowerISO. I extracted the bootable file from a bootable DVD build of Windows 7. The bootable file called “Microsoft Corporation.img”. I included this boot image file when building a compilation. After the creation is completed, I restarted a computer and it booted from the DVD. However, it would not work and displayed the following message:

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.
File: \Boot\BCD
Status: 0xC000000F
Info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data.

I would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

i do not understand why you are using norton ghost with windows 7.

it already has everything needed to create system images and backups.

are you trying to copy the hard drive data to another hard drive,

other than the one the data is on now ?

to do what i think you are trying to do

you need to make an Unattended installation disc.
