Hello. I am getting an error on Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 that comes up whenever I try to playback in the timeline. It says

Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
[..\..\Src\Audio\AsioHost.cpp-709]
*Continue*

Obviously pressing continue gives me back control, but it just comes up again as soon as I play anything again.

It has worked until recently on PPRO 2.0 which suddenly started giving the error, and an upgrade to CS3 did nothing. It usually seems to be alright until I change the clip's audio in anyway- fades/gain etc..

Please ask away, any questions you want to know, I would be endlessly grateful for any help on this (as reflected in my prize, despite my current state of poverty)

The worst case is there is a problem with your mainboard. then your hardware might not be suitable for the mainboard. You might have to re-install the Operating System (bad installation, known or unknown, of advance programs and/or drivers might be the cause of this).

Reinstalling the program can solve this most of the times. Go to the control panel, then go to add/remove programs. Find Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, then click change or change/remove. At some point it should ask you if you want to reinstall, uninstall or modify.

It sounds as if the program has been corrupted. Try re-installing the program. If the same error appears, contact Adobe or go to their website and see if there is a knowledge base for this error.
