I was trying to connect a web cam into my laptop it.But when I connect it to the USB port I get error message?

My laptop is DELL B130.My web cam is Logitech Quick Cam with built-in microphone.

plz tell the error message and i think think that the cam may be usb 2.0 but your laptop may anly be supporting usb 1.0.

Have you tried turning the laptop off... Connecting the USB while the laptop is off, then turning it back on again?
