The people above me are telling you to download another browser but don't realize your problem is that you can't download *idiots*. This is a real easy fix, doesn't require any professional help or xtra money so don't listen to the people above me. There are 2 solutions to this problem.

1st solution (fairly Easy)

Easy simply restore you computer to the last time IE has worked. Just type system restore in the start menu search bar, click on the program, and follow the instructions. After your PC restarts, download another browser, Firefox or Chrome, so you have a little insurance to fall back on.

2nd Solutions (fairly difficult)

Turn off you Laptop and Boot into safe mode with networking, you can do that by holding F8 while the Laptop is turning back on. After you log into the administrators account just open internet explorer. It should work this time, When it opens, re-download internet explorer. Also download Firefox and Google Chrome if you haven't done so already.(just in case this happens again you can run to firefox or chrome instead of this whole process). After you've done that, restart you laptop and log into you PC in normal mode. If you haven't installed Firefox and Google Chrome yet now is the time to do so, then uninstall internet explorer then restart you Laptop. After it restarts just log in and re-install IE

After install the other web browser I recommend using one of them, there both faster, and easier to use also you can import all your favorites and bookmarks to them.

Why are you stuck with internet explorer? I never had success downloading anything with ie especially on slow connections.

Get firefox from www.mozilla.com/firefox/ . It is an excellent, safe browser with very good downloader.

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.pcboostcleaner.net

It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

You might try "reset" in Internet Explorer. It will reset the browser to "default" settings, meaning that your settings you might have set up will be gone.

Check this out. read it to make sure you understand what is involved.

Hope that helps. ( and I don't know where your scooby snack is)
