I am having a problem with my PC.I made a DVD which is bootable.I have inserted it in my PC and restarted it.But it doesn't show a screen with " Press any key to boot from CD/DVD"...I have inserted other bootable DVDs which had worked earlier....but not working now...I have checked my BIOS setting...no problem found and is enabled to Boot from CD/DVD drive.....also reset to default setting....But that screen to boot from CD/DVD don't appear
Is there any solution for this?

Say, if you make the dvd disc the first disc to check for a boot record and then reset cmos, you wipe out the new setting. Make the DVD drive the first in order.

You may want to tell us what happens when you boot.

If the hard drive is bad and it is the first boot device, you will get a message saying no boot device was found. If the DVD device is the first boot device, you will get a brief message to press any key to continue but you only get a few seconds to hit a key.

Make sure that booting from disc is the highest priority boot option. Even if it's enabled, if the bios finds something higher to boot from, it will use that instead.
