Now I might talk a little technical in this.

Youtube is causing my computer to crash. And i'm sure that it's not the internet being slow, or my computer being annoying.

I have tried everything. I have Ran anti-virus, checked anti-Mal-ware, tried multiple Web browsers (google chrome/Firefox/Internet explorer/ Heck even Comodo Dragon) I have even did a Registry clean up, Disk Defrag, and what not. There is just nothing that i can find on my computer that can cause my computer to crash when watching youtube.

I have a Toshiba P505D
AMD Turiod X2 2.2GHZ dual core
4GB of RAM
200GB Left on my 400GB Hard Drive
I run 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium. I have upgraded from the standard Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit that came with my laptop.
I am Running Comodo Antivirus as my firewall/Anti-virus (it comes as a package)
Spybot Search and Destroy as my Registry Protection/Anti-Malware
I am Running Google Chrome as my Web Browser (Now, want's to switch back to firefox)
I Have used Comodo System Cleaner as my System Registry Cleaner
I have made no hardware or software changes when these problems started to appear (until after they Appeard)

I have Embarq high speed internet as well. I get a 341.6kB/s download rate, and a 78.6kB/s Upload rate.

And what makes no sense at all is that it's only Youtube and other video playing websites like Google Video and what not. In fact I can sit on a website like facebook for Hours and have no problem, I can be dowloading patches for videogames, and what and have 0 problems. It's only Video playback. I have updated Adobe Flashplayer, and I have updated Java. I just cannot find a solution.

My computer worked perfectly fine one day. and when i shut it off, packed it up and went back home from chilling at a friends house. The next day I unpacked it set it back up. Turned it on, and had this problem.

I am really Desperate to get this problem fixed. Heck i'd even Re-Install my OS if it fixes this problem. My computer is Beast for a laptop and I have no idea what the problem is.

I also spend alot of time working on computers, and is very computer literate. So don't be afraid to use technical terms for me.

If video playback is the problem, then what you'll need to do is this:

1) Uninstall your web browser (if it's IE then you cannot do this)

2) Uninstall flash player (don't just update)

3) Uninstall Java

4) Clean out the registry (use http://ww.fastregistryfixes.com/best_registry_cleaner_tools.html)

5) Restart your PC

6) Reinstall an internet browser

7) Go on YouTube and it will ask you to download flash. Do it

8) Restart your PC and it should work again

It's not easy to diagnose the problem. One quick fix can be installing the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. Free link here: http://bitly.com/1p3PKQI

Adobe Flash Player is often responsible for issues with videos and trying to install it or update it it's something that you can do quite easily. (It worked for me most of the times)

It's not very likely but also possible that YouTube won't play the video if your connection speed is below a certain speed. If you know you have slow Internet, try connecting to a different network that is faster. You can find these at wifi-hotspots, like Internet cafes, bookstores, libraries, etc.

It's very difficult but also possible that the Youtube Server that holds the video you are trying to watch is temporarily under construction. This is a temporary issue, so everything can starting working again without the need of installing new softwares on your pc.

Every file present in your registry contains a command or direction for every program and application on your computer. Registry files are the files that give your computer the instructions for what to do next. If these registry files get corrupt or misplaced, your computer fails to understand what to do. In these instances, your computer loses control, eventually leading to a crash. At this stage the priority is to fix these registry files. In such situations it is suggested that you do not try to fix the registry yourself. Immediately find registry cleaner software and scan your computer to locate any errors. This software will identify all the missing entries or errors, restoring them right away. In many cases, your computer will be back to normal. It is recommended that you run this software once a month for best results. I should like to commend Registry Easy http://cleanup-comuter-run-perfectly.com

to you !
