I had a complete computer crash, but thankfully I had Carbonite. As I am restoring all my files, my computer will log out and stop the process after some period of time. How can I stop it from logging out?

Right click your desktop and choose properties, choose the screen saver tab and then press the button at the bottom "power" and make sure you choose the option always on and that the hard drive isnt shutting down.

Also go to system in your control panel and choose the advanced tab and press settings button next to startup and recovery and take the tick out of automatically restart on system failure.

Have you tried to jiggle the mouse or trackpad? Other than that...I don't know!
