It all depends on what kind of computer you have and what kind of key board?

CTRL+ALT+O ( the letter) opens your files when you're on a microsoft system (like word) the little flaggish thing opens your start bar and CTRL+ALT+DELETE doesn't restart your comp unless you press it more than once. If you press it only once than an end task screen comes up... very useful if your internet freezes. Also, CTRL+ALT+C is either cut or copy and CTRL+ALT+V is paste

First off, CTRL+ALT+DEL doesn't restart your computer, unless you're running a VERY old operating system.

There are quite a few interesting Windows key combinations. Try these ones out:

Winkey + D = Show Desktop

Winkey + L = Lock computer

Winkey + R = Run command

Winkey + E = My Computer

Winkey + U = Utility Manager

Winkey + F = Search

CTRL is cool. If you highlight something and hold CTRL and hit the letter C then that copies it. If you then want to paste it then hit CTRL V.If you are typing and you accidently delete everything then hit CTRL Z.

That should tell you everything else you need to know

In the notepad (text editor) if you press F5, it will put in the current date and time like 2003-5-17 8:47 - it can be useful

ctrl-x cut, ctrl-c copy, ctrl-v paste

ctrl-s save

ctrl-shift-s save-as (another document)

Um... Alt+Tab can show you what programs you have open, and if you keep pressing the Tab button while holding down Alt, you can go to the program that you want.

I recommend that you use the MOUSE. Also, try the RIGHT mouse button. You will be surprised at how useful that is.

But when a program is OPEN and you check the menu items, you will see that they show symbols to the RIGHT of the items in the list, So under the FILE menu, you will see PRINT. To the Right of that, you will see CNTL+P

So for that program, Control P is PRINT.

Go for it.
