I remember years ago when AOL used to mail out those free disks and for some reason they don't do this anymore. I'm doing away with my current internet until I can find something new. I was just wondering if anyone on here could give me the link to the website, if it's even there, to get the free AOL trial version. I've tried looking for this for hours now and still can't find anything. I'm not even sure it's still offered. Also, does anyone know where I can find a disk or get one mailed to me?
Thanks.

If you are talking about on broadband they don't do it

On dialup it was pretty easy for any company to give free trials On broadband as the IP have to pay the phone company a considerable fee to set it up, its not cost effective. The fact that it takes upto 2 weeks to change from one broadband provider to another makes it difficult also.

If you are talking about dialup I for one can't give you a link as AOL in the UK is owned by carphone warehouse and AOL.com redirects to aol.co.uk from Britain

AVG and avast are the two superb. in spite of the undeniable fact that in case you ought to ask this question, you may desire to be the style of consumer that needs supprort. Neither Avast nor avg supply help. each and all of the sturdy paid products supply help and after rebate you will get it for unfastened besides. Of the Paid ones, form (pccillin) and kapersky are the suited. do no longer use the unfastened ones which you get out of your ISP, they're stripped variations of actual products and are often worse than no longer something in any respect. Useonly ONE antivirus product, extra are not extra constructive, they actually combat against one yet another.
