Problem Downloading Vista - a 4 GB text file?

Every single time I have tried downloading the Windows Vista Beta 2 from Microsofts web site, I wait for 5-10 hours while it downloads and I open up the 4 Gigabyte archived folder with WinRAR and inside.... a 135 byte textfile.

I have tried downloading it 6 times now, and each time I get the same result. (My ISP probably isn't happy with the bandwith I am using)

It is the 64 bit version.

Downloading info can be found here:
http://download.windowsvista.com/preview/beta2/en/x64/download.htm

Even when I downloaded the torrent (nor from Microsoft - at the time I thought it was the same thing, but other people have reported that it does not work with the Registration Key I got from Microsoft.) it still contained only a text file.

This leads me to assume that I am doing something wrong extracting the files... I don't think it is WinRAR, it has worked flawlessly for me a countless number of times.

I had the same problem so I just ordered the Disc's from Microsoft, they only cost about $10. I'm just going to use them to learn Windows Vista once I figure out if I can make a dual boot system.

You should actually wait for vista. Right now there isn't any updates or drivers for it. So if you have any problems with the os you won't be able to fix it. it is suppose to realese this year.

the download should result in an .iso file that needs to be burned to disc.....
