i have a microsoft office outlook light email account (web email account) with my college and i'm having a tough time trying to set up microsoft office outlook.

I get the error message "The connection to microsoft exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.."
It's asking for the microsoft exchange server & mailbox.

What server name should I put in .. client access server name or mailbox server name..

Yahoo mail does no longer artwork with Outlook. you're able to the two pay for Yahoo top type service or acquire a third occasion gadget suggested as Ypops to fool yahoo into getting yahoo mail into outlook.

The information you want depends on the email service you're using, not the program. Ask the IT department. (They probably have a web page with instructions. If they don't, suggest to them that they put one up. It'll save them from having to give the same information to hundreds (thousands?) of students every semester.)

You need to check with oyur networks team whether the email service is hosted my Microsoft exchange server. Otherway you can use any IMAP/POP3 configurations to your outlook.
