why was my question deleted?

please don't delete this question but i was asking for one of the users on this site because they answered my last question and i had another question for them. anyway, answer that and answer this...

i know mavis beacon teaches typing is really good and i might get it BUT somebody told me i could download it. where could i download it to use it for good? i downloaded it for 3 uses and it canceled before i even did the first. so if you know, tell me if you can download mavis beacon teaches typing and what site? please and thank you!!!

There are lots of free programs out there that can teach you. But I can teach you in just a few words..



Put your left hand fingers on the following keys



asdf



Put your right hand fingers on the following keys



jkl;



Now any key your fingers can reach without moving your other three fingers is the correct finger and key.



just start testing your self by hitting the J key and the L key and on and on. Grab a book and set it up where you can copy from it.



I tried the stupid j j j j j j j j k k k k k k k l l l l l l l ; ; ; ; and jkj jkj kjk kjk crap and it may help a little making your remember which key is under each finger but just copying text from a book is the best way if you ask me.



Go to download.com and search for typing

If you want it for free, go to your local library and get it and if they don't have it they can get it through interlibrary loan. If you want to pay for it, put Mavin Beacon typing into a search engine and you'll get plenty of places that want to sell it to you. Hope that helps!
