Go to control panel ----> regional and language options ...> go to the "language" tab and check the "install east asian language" box.

Be warned that if you install different languages some program will not be comparable anymore. It will also make your computer lag.

It sounds like you just want your Internet Browser to display pages correctly in those languages. I'm not an expert on this, but here's what I've located:

In Firefox:

1. Click on the Tools->Options menu item.

2. Click the Advanced page.

3. Click the General Tab.

4. Down under Languages, click the Choose button.

5. Play with the Add languages list box and see if you can get a good automatic language detection when you go to the appropriate websites.

In Internet Explorer 6:

1. Click on the Tools->Internet Options menu item.

2. Click on the General tab.

3. Click the Languages button.

4. Play with the Add button

Good luck.

The Chinese language is difficult to gain knowledge of on account that there are like over three,000 characters to memorize... Japanese additionally has 3 alphabets, Kanji, hiragana, and katakana. I have no idea which one is which however the alphabets are jap characters, chinese language characters and a seperate alphabet that spells out English phrases. I took Japanese one million/three in tuition and it wasn't wasy, however I'm now not well a deciding on up language. Korean has just one alphabet, there possess and is very similar to Japanese. Share plenty of the identical phrases, sentence buildings and such.

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.healthboostpc.com

It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

First, you probably want to setup another User Account on your computer for your parents this way you can setup their browser and whatever other programs you want just for them in their account. This way you have your login account and they have theirs with Windows saving each settings separately.

You can add 2 user accounts by going to your Control Panel and looking for the icon "User Accounts." Create a login account for you, make sure you have Administrator rights, and then make an account for your parents.

Once you create a user account for your parents, login as them. Next, you'll need to install the files for the East Asian Languages. Again, in your Control Panel look for the icon "Regional & Language Options" and click that.

Then click the tab "Languages" and then in the small boxes click 'Install Files for East Asian Languages' as well as the box above if your parents need to type using right to left.

Have your Windows XP CD nearby as you will probably need it to install these extra files.

Next, in the same box, you will see a button labeled 'Details' and click that. Here you will add the keyboard of the extra languages that you added. Click the 'Add' button and select what languages you want to add.

Lastly, adjust your browser settings to reflect the main language and then log out.

Remember, do this 'after' you create a user account for your parents, then login as them and do the above. After this you can then logout and login as you and you should have everything normal again.

I hope this helps!

I move quite easily backwards and forwards using Japanese and English- often in the same document. If you are running microsoft it is very easily done using the language bar available FOR FREE... 本当に!

I use an IME. It's explained here: http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/handson/user/IME_Paper.mspx
