Question:
Can I have more than one Outlook Express mailbox?

I used Outlook Express for several years for my primary e-mail. It became corrupted and lost 6 months worth of my messages and will no longer show new messages, so I forwarded them all to my new e-mail address. My new e-mail is web-based and I absolutely detest it. It is very cumbersome and unproductive. I'd like to get another Outlook Express mailbox for my new e-mail, but I have no idea how to do this. Someone else set up the first one for me. Can someone please suggest how I might go about this? Thank you!

Outlook Express comes with Windows. So, unless you tried to delete it, it's still there somewhere. Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and when the list loads, on the left side click on Add/Remove Windows Components. It takes a little longer for that list to load, but when it does, look for Outlook Express and make sure there's a checkmark by it. Then close the control panel and call your internet service provider to set you up again with OE.

You would need to get a email service that supports pop email or you can get the hotmail plus account for 19.95 a year. This will allow you to use OE to open email.
