Should I be worried about this?

Hi Frosta,

Don't freak out hon. I don't know why Michael claims this is a virus. You may come up with adware or trojan tracker when you scan with kp, but it has nothing to do with this, and it's kinda normal :(.

It's a very simple case of a missing file(s) within the Java Virtual Machine program.

All you should need to do is uninstall the current version of Java you have and reinstall it.

Often, people have 2 versions of Java downloaded. One is Sun and the other is Virtual Machines. Make sure VM is the program you are deleting and reinstalling.

And yes, the first poster is right (sorry, I forgot your name), no matter what the advice is, if it involves doing anything to your computer that you are not comfortable with, then go to the experts. There are 2 places that I would recommend, that have been very helpful to me and they are entirely free. Computing.net, and Geekstogo.com. If you are still covered, always try your comp manufacturer.

As you can see, you got a few posters with drastically different responses...go to someone that is trained for something that is in anyway complicated.

Best wishes ;)

I am the same way. There are several at home treatments you can try. I find relaxation techniques such as yoga, breathing exercises stretching can work. Finding a happy place, a fun memory or favorite activity you can think about. For some people music will work, playing a favorite song can alter you mindset. If you feel as though nothing works it is always advisable to go talk to a therapist. There may be something triggering your stress that can be resolved. Good luck.

go into your programs panel and try deleting all the java programs and then try to go online and eventually when you need to run java, you will be asked to install it and then install it and it will probably be fixed. if not- call the maker of your pc and if you have coverage, they can help you through it for free or charge a small fee like 35 bucks

good luck!

This is a virus that is more commonly known as a "Paragonal Kobold Tracker" which essentially hunts through your internet cookies and sends them to an external email. I suggest a thorough computer scan and perhaps avoid online billing until you resolve this issue.
