Where can I get Gimp GAP.exe?

Question

I am trying to find a authentic GAP.exe for Gimp. I have Googled for several hours and all the GAP.exe I found are dodgy .exe share files. I even downloaded a backdoor bot/malware GAP.exe. There must be a real GAP download site somewhere out there. Please help

Photocomix is one of the GIMP developers. I use his version which he compiled personally, and have never had a problem.

. There is also a massive package http://sourceforge.net/projects/gimpmp/ that I have been using for quite some time but unfortunately it does not include the GAP " Sorry, no GAP (Animation Package) yet. Waiting for a working GAP from maker of gimp-win project".



I will see if there is a .exe to simplify the process but I would prefer that download location. It is straight from Gimp.



Most every download like this includes a "read-me" file which many people do not read and therefore do not understand how to correctly install their particular download.

GIMP is a free software you can use for loads of tasks (photo-retouching, image authoring, image compositioning, photo editing.). It's the best free photo editing tool available for free. It's not as powerful as photoshop but can be easily augmented with expensions and plugins if you need professional and advanced features. You can use GIMP as a simple paint program or a complex image manipulation software (thanks to an advanced scripting interface).

Don't use torrents/downloads from other sites, they might be backdoored.
