I have a large number of links in my FAVORITES folder and I have some in folders but I am wondering how I can get them into alphabetical order.
I need some way to organize them better.
Is just organizing them into folders the only way to do this?

Start/ My Computer/ Local Disk/ Documents and Settings/Select folder that is your user name/ Favorites/ select a folder/ View/ List/ View/ Arrange icons by/ name That will put them in alphabetical order in the folder that you selected . You can do it with all of your sub-folders and even create new folders and drag and drop or cut and paste to get your folders set up the way that you like and rename the sub-folders.

i believe so. as for sorting them into alphabetical order. that way doesnt seem possible. folders and subfolders are my best suggestions really. like "Work" "Business" etc. Yes i know I wish I can organize it better but thats as far best as i can help u with. Also you can rename some of the sites just in case the link gives the web page and u are unsure what the topic is so renaming some links in ur favorites will make it easier to refer back to. Also you can delete whichever links that u do not use anymore to clear up some space.

The way that I do it is create folders with "categories" and put the different links into those folders. And I just do the alphabetizing myself.

For alphabetical order, open Favorites and then right click on the list and click "sort by name". I use folders (for topic) and then sort them to make them easier to find within the topic.
Good luck!

with your internet expolorer open, click on favorites, then move the cursor to the favorites list and right click, then click on sort by name.
