I use opera. Whenever I watch videos on my computer the monitor starts to make buzzing sounds. Is there a web browser that doesn't let this happen or what do I have to do so my computer does not make the buzzing sounds anymore?

I use firefox without any real issues on my mac and pc in both standard view and full screen video.
Have you checked your CPU usage while playing videos? They can be very CPU intensive and can make strange noises sometimes when that happens.
Might want to check the connection to your monitor too and get a wall socket voltage meeter to make sure your computer is plugged into a safe outlet because some homes like mine can have irregular voltage and if thats the case you would need a voltage regulator.. I doubt this is the case though since it only happens on videos.

If you are talking about watching movies online like Hulu, etc then Mozilla or IE8 is fine. Just make sure you have flash players installed.
It seems Google Chrome is also an option as per Adobe.

In my personal opinion I would use IE8 or IE9 with flash player installed.
If you are talking of movies offline then VLC is a good free player.
I have yet to find anything VLC cannot play (not saying that there isn't though).
Also check your sound drivers.
Edit: Try with another browser, if it continues to make the sound you then know for a fact it is not a browser issue. Trial and error on a situation like this. Please let us know the result.

Well they all claim to be the fastest but if its flash videos your talking about (ie youtube) try Opera. It's also the most customizable browser out there so you can set it up however you like it.

I prefer Avant browser. It has three rendering engines, If I have problem when using IE rendering engine, just switch to firefox or chrome rendering engine.
And the most important reason is that It has a build-in video downloader. If I found an intersting video,I can download it into my computer.

Yeah, Its not the browser if your monitor is buzzing. How old is the monitor? Maybe it needs to be replaced.

Your problem isn't the browser that u use .. there is something wrong with your monitor or your sound board , but if you want to try a good browser that offers you many benefits like internet anonymity, secure browsing, proxy and many others , you should take a look at jumpto , I'm personally using it and I can say that I'm very pleased by it :) . So , I say that you should give it a try .
