What is the best online pc backup? I have many pictures and such on my PC and after a friend lost his pc in a fire it got me thinking I would lose so much if my pc crashed or was lost in some way.
Now I am trying to find a good affordable online backup.

There are two that I can recommend and both are FREE for online backup. Personally, I am using these two providers right now.

CX (http://thisishelpful.com/10gbs-free-online-storage.html ) which gives you 10GBs of online storage. They have a client which does the same thing as Skydrive and you can setup multiple computers to synch up to the same account (handy if you have two computers). Good news is, they give the largest FREE online storage around - 10GBs. They also provide a Mac client that you can install on your Macbook.

Skydrive (https://skydrive.live.com/ ) from Microsoft gives you 5GBs of online storage. They have an app that you install on your computer and configure to automatically synch up with Skydrive. That way, you can setup your important documents folder to synch up and it will do it for you automatically on the fly so you don't have to worry whether important documents have been saved on Skydrive.

You can also set files/folders to be PUBLIC/Shared if you want to share them with your friends, otherwise just keep them private.

I am using both services and both work really well for me (15GBs of free online storage :)

Hope that helps answer your question.

I fairly advise employing Dropbox. its unfastened and consumer-friendly to apply. you will get right of entry to your archives from any device too. you initiate up with around 2gb of area and in case you advise human beings you will get a lot extra area. I at present have 5.88 gb of unfastened area on my dropbox.
