I'm running XP on a Toshiba laptop and I just recently installed Service Pack 3. Now my surround sound has this awful reverb. Is there any way to fix this?

Double-check your cables (seriously, sometimes it's that simple). If that's not it, check if any software that you might have on your computer for the sound card got an "effect" turned on. If this turns out NOT to be the case, uninstall the sound card drivers and reinstall them. That should fix it, if not contact Toshiba. Also, search in google "service pack 3 sound card problems" and read forums for help.

i highly think that because the system is updated, some programs are still trying to run along the with the new pack. after the installation of Service Pack 3, there will be a windows update that will be follow, did you have it already? if not, you need to update the windows also so that the computer will run smoothly. then if your AV or PC protection is not updating, update it too and run a full scan on your PC. then restart. if problem persists, check cables and other connections. if you can't fix it by yourself, contact your nearest computer shop instead or get a technical support.

relies upon on what variety of software you're operating. service packs are a strong theory once you're operating extremely universal kinds of software like Microsoft place of work etc. operating intense aspect programming like professional strategies or Photoshop may no longer be a strong theory to replace till you do the study on the service %. and what precisely that is installation. for the overall public of computing device customers regardless of the undeniable fact that, you're able to be nice going to the recent service %..
