Is there a way I can delete user accounts from my PC? My older brother went to uni last year and has recently given me his old PC. It's actually a very good comp, but it's got his user account on it aswell as four of his friends accounts on it. They're all taking up a lot of memory. Is there any way I can delete them? They're not password protected.

Go to User Accounts in the Control Panel and delete them.

BTW they take up Disk Space, not Memory.

Yes (Assuming Its XP) Login To Each User account, Go To Start > Control Panel > User Accounts (Or Something Like That) > Click On The User name And Delete.

They should not be taking up any memory whatsoever.

It would help if you included the O/S, so I'm going to have to give you general steps rather than really specific ones.

Right-click on My Computer. Scroll to Manage. Open Local Users & Groups. Open the users folder. Delete the profiles no longer required. Make sure you leave an active profile for you to use. Close the window.

Then right-click on My Computer. Scroll to explore. Expand the C drive. Expand documents and settings, or users depending upon your O/S. Delete the user folders. Make sure you don't delete yours.

Dears is correct

you will be asked to delete the account

then asked to delete all folder attached to this user

in your case x 4

when done do a system clean up and a defrag

to smooth things

Yes you could, here's how

ask those people first if they have important files on those accounts and you will delete them. Then,go to start-> control panel-> add or remove user accounts.
