What file format do my video files have to be before i can burn them to disc?

:if it's a DVD with menu(s) it will be converted to a VOB file (video object). the folder(s) will be named VIDEO_TS, AUDIO_TS.

:a DVD with no menus will be MPEG-2

that depends on the program you are using

i usually make mine .avi
